The Anniversary Celebration

I know, you’ve all been wondering what we might have done to celebrate our years of togetherness. Typically, we go to dinner and a movie … not a lot of fan-fare. Just getting out without kids is a wonderful thing and unlike other couples who may do this monthly or quarterly … we are sporadic in our efforts to ‘date’. Especially now that we are so far from family and close friends … my dear friend Tessa and her husband are ‘it’ … they were the chosen ones to watch our children while we played. The kids spent the night at their house so we could go out to a nice dinner and we rented a movie because nothing was playing that looked too great and we knew we had a big day on Saturday ….

… we went on a Pink Jeep Tour in Sedona … the Broken Arrow and Scenic Tour to be specific. It was fantastic. We spent 3 hours looking at beautiful views and driving on rugged trails (up rocks actually!) I realized when I did the last post that I didn’t have too many pictures of just me and Eric so I “made up for it” on this trip and had the tour guide take our picture at just about every view.
